Meet the Founder

My name is Chelsea Levey, and I am the founder of The HOC.

After spending ten years in the dental field, I developed a strong foundation in consistency, attention to detail, and the importance of showing up for people in a meaningful way. Over time, I began to recognize a growing disconnect between the level of care I believed people deserved and what was often being delivered. That realization led me to step away and pursue something more purposeful.

I completed my nursing prerequisites and was accepted into a BSN program twice. Although it was a path that made sense, I ultimately chose not to continue. I wanted to engage with people on a deeper level, beyond brief clinical interactions, and to build relationships that extended into everyday life.

While working at a senior living facility, I gained valuable insight into the needs of seniors and their families. I observed the importance of consistency, presence, and thoughtful support in maintaining quality of life.

The HOC was created from that perspective.

What began with a focus on seniors has since grown to support families and households more broadly. However, seniors remain at the core of everything we do, and that standard continues to guide our approach.

Each member of our team is carefully selected, thoroughly screened, and background checked. We are intentional about who represents The HOC and the level of care we provide.

No shortcuts. No inconsistency.

Only thoughtful, dependable support delivered with attention to detail.

On Saturdays, we spend time at a local memory care facility, creating meaningful experiences for residents living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

When you support The HOC, you help create something that extends far beyond the homes we serve. Your support allows us to provide resources, experiences, and moments of connection that bring comfort and joy to seniors in our community.

It is more than having your baseboards scrubbed or your oven degreased. When you choose The HOC, your support carries beyond your home and into the lives of seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. Even in the midst of it, they continue to share moments of joy that remind us what truly matters.

This is more than a service. It is a commitment to showing up, giving back, and making a meaningful difference where it matters most.
